Get to know the wonderful Countryside Staff
Lovely ladies of the front desk

Debbie has been with us since 2009. Her role is a receptionist, but that is not her only role. She prepares our sympathy cards when your pet passes away and truly takes this task to heart. Debbie is one of the smiling faces you will see on weekday mornings when dropping your pet off for surgery. She is a native of Mt. Juliet. She has one dog and a fish pond. She enjoys cooking, scrapbooking and spending time with her family (especially her grandson). What Debbie enjoys most about working at Countryside is meeting all of the people and their furry families.

Allison has been with us since 2012 and is another one of the smiling faces you will see at the front desk. She is originally from San Antonio, Texas but has lived in Middle Tennessee for over 2o years. She and her husband have two spoiled rotten dogs and she enjoys camping, reading and traveling. Allison is all about the people- from her co-workers to our clients, she delights in those daily interactions.

Kayla joined us in 2014. Though now a receptionist, she has several years experience in various roles of the veterinary field. She is responsible for sending out reminder cards, ordering veterinary diets and maintaining this website. She is from Lebanon and has a Bachelors in Animal Science from MTSU. She and her husband have a new kitten and a daughter named Allie. She enjoys organizing, sewing and reading. What Kayla enjoys most about working at Countryside is that everyone is treated like family: with compassion and kindness.

Melissa joined us April 2017. She is originally from Nashville. She has two older Shih Tzus, one crazy cat and one nice cat. In her spare time she likes to watch Florida Gators football, travel and spend time with her family and pets. Melissa loves that everyone here is treated like family.

Kristin began with us in the summer of 2017. She is a native of Lebanon but has lived up north as well. She has a spoiled rotten German Shepherd (her favorite breed) and three housecats. She likes to spend her days off traveling, doing DIY projects and playing with her dog. Kristin enjoys being a part a team of people who she truly enjoys working with and loving on all the German Shepherds that come through our doors.

Cathy is another face you may see at the desk from time to time. She is our Office Manager and Dr Parsley's wife. She is originally from Kentucky and has several years experience in the human medical world. She and Dr Parsley have one dog and two cats. When not overseeing the day-to-day running of the hospital, she enjoys cooking, being outdoors and KY Wildcats basketball. Cathy enjoys interacting with our employees, clients and their pets.
Terrific Technicians

Erin has been with us since opening day 2007. She is a veterinary technician and her primary role is performing dental cleanings. She is originally from Maryland and moved to Mt Juliet in the early 90's. She graduated from MTSU with a Bachelor's in Animal Science. She has seven cats and two dogs. She enjoys gardening/landscaping and shopping. Erin is very much a cat person and loves caring for them here at Countryside.

Sue has also been with us since our opening in 2007. Her primary roles are surgical assistant and caring for our clinic cats. She is originally from Washington state. She has five cats and loves playing with them, reading and shopping. Like Erin, she is a cat person and enjoys caring for them the most while working. 

Gerri has been with us since 2008. She has experience as a human pharmacy technician, and her knowledge has carried over into the veterinary field. She excels at paying attention to details when caring for your pets. She has five dogs, two cats, five chickens and three birds.  What she enjoys most about working for Countryside is the pets.

Whitney C. joined our team in 2009. She is originally from New Jersey. She obtained her Veterinary Technician license from Vol State. She has three dogs and a cat. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading and movies. Whitney enjoys being with the animals all day while working here at Countryside.

Monica began working for us in 2014. She is a native of Mt Juliet and has two dogs and one cat. She enjoys movies, decorating and spending time with family and friends. What Monica enjoys most about working at Countryside is helping the doctors treat these sweet babies and working with some amazing people.

Gabrielle started here in November 2015. She was born in Washington State, but moved to Tennessee as a young child. She has four dogs and one cat. She enjoys all things outdoors as well as painting, crafting and spending time with her friends and family. Gabrielle likes to see the all the people in our community and their varieties of pets. 

Kristen began with us March 2016. She is a hometown girl and is attending Vol State right now. She has two dogs and enjoys dancing and spending time with family and friends. She enjoys seeing all the puppies that come to Countryside and working with her fellow co-workers.

Nicole began in the fall of 2016. She is originally from Chicago and has two dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors. Nicole likes taking care of the animals in our care.

Stephanie joined us in May 2017. She is originally from Oceanside, California. She has two dogs and a bird. She enjoys teaching fitness classes and reading. Stephanie loves all the animals she meets here and learning new skills.

Kool Kennel Kats

Rivi has been with us since 2012. He is originally from Union City, TN and graduated from UT Martin. He has three dogs, two cats and a rabbit. He enjoys writing, running and hiking. Rivi most enjoys our family atmosphere here at Countryside.

Matt began with us in 2014 through the co-op program at Mt Juliet High School. 

We have a couple of new faces in the kennel- Jaycie and Cherrianna- info coming soon!
